Can’t get enough AnthrOhio? Although the convention happens once a year, AnthrOhio also hosts other events throughout the year.

Holiday Awoo Furwalk & Dinner

Location: Columbus Commons 160 S High Street Columbus, OH 43215

Date: December 13th, 2025 Time: 4:00PM

Dress up in your favorite Holiday wear and come down to the Columbus Commons for their annual light display. During the Furwalk, we will stay inside the park before venturing down to The Scioto Mile, followed by a stop at The Lazarus Building for their annual Christmas window, and finishing our walk at Tasty Dawg where we will have dinner.

Join us for a fursuit parade at Columbus’s Short North Gallery Hop on the first Saturday of every month*. No fursuit required!

We depart from the Arnold statue and make our way north, entertaining people and watching some of the performance street art, up to Hubbard Ave where we stop and take a break for fursuiters to cool off and hydrate. After that we cross the street and head back down High St. We are always looking for helpers to help guide people along the route.

AnthrOhio Picnic

Every September, AnthrOhio returns to its roots—a potluck-style picnic with fun and games for everyone. This year, it will be hosted at Alum Creek State Park - Below Dam Recreation Area in Galena, OH just north of Columbus. We have several shelter houses reserved. The cost of the attending the picnic is free, freshly cooked food provided by AnthrOhio staff will be available, but food donations in the form of side dishes and beverages are appreciated. Date: September 5, 2026 from 10am to 4pm. This occurs on the same day as the Gallery Hop which will be happening after the picnic!

Car Show

AnthrOhio hosts an annual car show where fellow furries show off the cars they are most proud of.

In the past we were able to hold the car show on location, but with the new venue downtown, we were not able to do that in 2025. We were able to host a car show at the Alum Creek State Park Beach in 2025 and we plan to host another one in 2026! Keep an eye out on our AnthrOhio Announcements Telegram Group for future updates.
